Basic remuneration
A fair, transparent wage structure is important to us. As a result, the basic remuneration we offer (gross salary, assumption of travel costs, car parking etc.) is based on your specialist level and a wage table with pre-set salary bands. The wage table tells you the salary band you’re currently in, based on your specialist level and professional experience – but it also shows where you’ll be after 5, 10 or 15 years at Aeberli. This enables you to plan out your personal career, drawing on a transparent remuneration framework.
Additional remuneration
Overtime payments
We pay out all your overtime at the end of the year, no matter what level you hold in our firm. In other words, if you’ve worked more than stipulated in your contract, you’ll be compensated accordingly – whatever your salary level. We don’t have specific contracts for senior management that limit the amount of overtime they can be paid for.
Employee referral bonus
Good, motivated employees are the most valuable tool in Aeberli’s arsenal. We’d like to encourage you to actively support us in seeking out new colleagues: we offer a generous commission payment for every person referred.
Customer acquisition bonus
We want employees who contribute to Aeberli’s growth to have a taste of our shared success. We pay a brokerage commission for every new customer we acquire from your personal network, based on a fixed percentage of the annual turnover generated. This commission is paid anew each year that the customer stays with Aeberli and you remain employed by us – letting you build up a sizeable additional income.

Social insurance
We want to take special care of our employees when it comes to insurance, too. Aeberli covers the full premiums for accident (occupational accident, non-occupational accident and supplementary accident insurance) and health (daily sickness benefits) cover. We go beyond the statutory minimum for pensions (BVG), too, insuring our employees with the full OASI salary without coordination deductions. In addition, we offer the option of a 1e pension plan from a set salary upwards – for every specialist level, not just senior management.
Annual working hours
We adhere to an ‘annual working hours’ model. At Aeberli, this is 2,034 hours – no matter where public holidays fall and whether it’s a leap year, it’s always 2,034 hours.
Annual leave
When you start working with us, you’re entitled to five weeks of annual leave. Your annual leave entitlement increases by half a day for every full year you work at Aeberli, up to a maximum of 30 days of leave.
Public holidays
All the statutory public holidays have already been deducted from your annual working hours. This means it doesn’t matter whether a public holiday falls on a weekend or not: you can take time off for every single one of the city of Zurich’s 12 public holidays.
Training and CPD
Training and CPD are the bedrock of high quality and the key to our success. That’s why we offer apprenticeships and support you with your training and CPD (professional certifications, expert diplomas etc.) by covering all the costs for this.
Working from home
As a modern employer, we offer you the option of working from home, facilitated by our digital work environment. You can discuss working from home with your line manager. We find seeing our colleagues in person to be important for our team spirit, and some things are just quicker and easier to deal with face-to-face. Consequently, as a general rule of thumb, we say you should spend at least half of your working hours in the office.
Aeberli lounge
We are fortunate enough to have an entire floor that we can use as a lounge, a space for interaction and dialogue. This is where we come together to eat lunch, to host social events and, from time to time, to share a drink after work.
